Mapping Research Preparation: 4 Geniko Lykeio Larisas : Visit at GRINCO company

Students of the 1st grade of the 4th GEL of Larisa within the framework of the erasmus SoSEntre project (2021-2-EL01-KA210-SCH-000050235) and the school environmental education programs "Recycling and entrepreneurship in schools I,II" visited on 19/01/2023 in Industrial Area of ​​Larissa the facilities of GRINCO (GREEN INNOVATIVE COMPANY) ...one of the first biodiesel production units in Greece.

The students were informed about the process of processing used cooking oils. In the discussion that followed, issues of environmental protection, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and achieving our country's recycling goals were raised. 

The teachers in charge of the programs and the students discussed with representatives of the company the prospect of cooperation (collection of frying oil from the student community of the 4th GEL of Larisa and retributive benefits for the school on behalf of the company)...
